Exhibitions in the Brock Gallery

There is always new art gracing the walls of the Brock Gallery! Here you will find the best that local and regional artists have to offer. Each month a new exhibition theme will take you into the minds of the artists and how they interpret the world around them.

While you visit, pick up our self-guided Art Talk to help you and your friends as you view and assess the art. Changing monthly themes guarantee that you'll find fresh and new eye candy each time you visit!

Join us on the First Friday of each month for the opening receptions. You'll meet and chat with artists, listen to the juror and get the insider's experience of art in Virginia Beach. Use the exhibition calendar below to plan your First Fridays for the rest of the year!

Big Water

These photographs aim to capture the balance between daily work and the natural environment—the practical, lived-in landscape and the quiet beauty within it. Big Water is both a reflection of place, light, and time, and a record of the moments where land, sea, and human life meet.

Virginia Beach Art Center Presents the Artists Gallery Exhibit
Exhibition in the Brock Gallery will be Friday December 5 - Tuesday December 23

We are so excited to present our first annual exhibition that will feature resident and exhibiting artists from the Artists Gallery. This exhibit is an open theme so you can create anything your heart desires. The only restriction is that you have to be an active member of the Artists Gallery as in you are a resident studio artist or an exhibiting artist that rents wall or shelf space. This exhibit will highlight the incredible talent of every single artist whose work will be represented with at least one of your entries so start creating because we can't wait to see what you will submit. Our very own Executive Director Margaret Foltz will be the juror, and we have awards just like in every other exhibit. So, I hope you are excited because I know we are.
