Special Rules:
Interpretation of Theme: Beauty does not have to come on a large canvas or sculpture but can be observed and admire in the tiniest of settings. For this exhibit we challenge you to present your best work no larger than 10" in any direction. Think Nicholas Hillard, Elizabethan court painter whose works were no larger than 2". Countless artists throughout the ages have created small works that are iconic pieces of art Remember that all canvas that has a 3/4" edge or smaller must have a frame. Measure your artwork before submitting and ensure it does not go over the limit, this includes 3D pieces. Our volunteers will be measuring accepted art to ensure nothing is larger than 10". All types of art are encouraged. Broad interpretation of theme is encouraged and not limited to just representational art. Abstract, collages, photography, jewelry, and other types of art are welcomed to submit, as long as they are tied into the theme of the exhibit and that they are within the size restriction of 10" and smaller in any direction. If you are creating a 3D piece, be mindfully that the presentation of the item cannot be larger than 10" including the item. If you are unsure of how to approach this theme, please reach out to us at [email protected]. Eligibility:
