As the founder of “heART of Back Bay”, her intimate home studio, Jenny channels her passion for art into vibrant creations that celebrate the essence of nature and the beauty of life.
With a background as a firefighter and critical care physician assistant, Jenny’s journey to becoming an artist is as dynamic as her brushstrokes. Her experiences have not only shaped her artistic vision but also instilled in her a deep reverence for life and the natural world.
Drawing inspiration from her surroundings in Mundon Point, Back Bay, Pungo, coastal Virginia, and the Outer Banks of North Carolina, Jenny’s artwork reflects the rhythm of the seasons, the majesty of wildlife and the serenity of the shoreline. Her preferred medium, painting, allows her to translate these moments of inspiration onto canvas with vivid colors and intricate details. Each brushstroke is infused with passion and reverence, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in the beauty of the world around them.
At home in Pungo, where she resides with her husband and three sons, Jenny finds solace in the simplicity of coastal country living. Here, amidst the marshes and waterways, she finds endless inspiration for her art, weaving together elements of the natural world with a touch of her own imagination.
Through her work, Jenny invites others to join her on a journey of exploration and discovery, where the ordinary becomes extraordinary, and every stroke of the brush tells a s story of connection and wonder. In the heART of Back Bay, Jenny Doll Ambrose invites us to embrace the beauty of nature and find inspiration in the world around us.
