Call for Donations

​​Need a great way to donate to one of your favorite places but don't want to just drop a coin in a box? We've got the solution!
By donating your excess art inventory to this auction, you'll support the mission of the Virginia Beach Art Center.
Don't have anything to donate? Support us by bidding, there's sure to be something that catches your eye!
​Fundraiser Dates: Sept. 5 - 25

8/27           Submission Deadline                     
9/5             Online Auction begins at 9am
9/25           Bidding Ends at 5pm
​9/26           Notifications of winning bids and donors who sold.
9/27-28     Drop off of Purchased Items, 10am-4pm.                
9/29-30     Pick up of Purchased Items, 10am-4pm.

​Items for donation may include original fine art, fine art prints (valued at $75 or more), vintage jewelry, high-end collectibles and small estate items.  If unsure, please contact Stacy McCallister at admin@artcentervb.org or Jorge A. Saenz at exhibitions@artcentervb.org.

Liability and Permission:
By submitting your donation, you understand and agree to the following:
  • You are transferring ownership of the item to the Virginia Beach Art Center.
  • The Virginia Beach Art Center and The Artists Gallery are not responsible and cannot be held liable for any damages to artworks/items. 
  • The Art Center will use images of the item(s) for marketing purposes.

GENERAL RULES
  • There will be no shipping, all artwork must be dropped off and picked up in person.
  • This is a curated auction, not all works may be accepted.
  • All works must be free of copyright infringement. 
  • Artworks, mats and frames should be in good and clean condition. Please make sure all chips, dings and smudges are addressed before submitting.
  • Works must be labeled on back with title, artist, and medium. and suggested value.
  • VB Art Center is a community gallery.  All artworks should be suitable for viewers of all ages.
  • Please ensure that all photos being submitted are crisp and cropped with only the artwork being shown. Do not submit photos with paintings on easels or outside in your garden or under a pier on the beach.
  • If your donation is not sold during the auction it will remain with you.
